Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound found in the resinous flower of cannabis, a plant with a rich history as a medicine going back thousands of years. Unlike Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), CBD is not psychoactive, meaning it doesn't cause the 'high' associated with cannabis use. It's recognized for its potential therapeutic properties, with research exploring its effectiveness in treating various conditions such as pain, anxiety, and epilepsy.

CBD does not make you feel high. Although it is extracted from the cannabis plant, cannabidiol doesn’t have the same psychoactive properties as THC, the main active phytocannabinoid in marijuana. Studies have shown that CBD can help you feel less anxious, more relaxed, and even act as astimulant in low doses.

CBD is generally known for its function in decreasing anxiety and even helping to offset the anxiety often caused by THC. However, Since CBD is biphasic, a stimulant in low doses and a sedative in higher doses, there is a miniscule chance that it may cause slight anxiety in low doses.

Research shows that high doses of CBD can act as a sedative, promote feelings of calm, and help users fall and stay asleep. However, because CBD is biphasic, it has different effects in low doses which have been shown to have stimulative effects in average doses of approximately 15mg.

Dosage is highly dependent on each individual and if you are new to CBD we recommend startingwith a low dose like 10mg once a day and working your way up as needed.

CBD is non-toxic and no fatal overdoses have ever been reported. According to one 2011 study, doses of up to 1,500 mg of CBD per day are fine.

Full spectrum CBD products show positive THC results in blood tests (having 0.3% THC), which could be a deterrent for professional athletes or working professionals in specific fields.
